Your day begins with pickup from your ship in Bordeaux, where you'll meet your professional English-speaking driver-guide and travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle through the picturesque vineyard landscapes of the Right Bank. Along the way, your guide will share insights into Bordeaux's rich winemaking heritage, its appellation system, and the unique characteristics of Saint-Emilion, Pomerol, Fronsac, and the surrounding wine regions.
During the tour, you'll visit three carefully selected wineries, each offering a unique perspective on the region's winemaking traditions. Upon request, a visit to Pomerol or Fronsac can be substituted for one of the winery stops, allowing for a more personalized experience.
You'll also have free time to explore the medieval village of Saint-Emilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its historic streets, charming stone buildings, and centuries-old wine culture. Enjoy lunch at your leisure (own expense), browse local wine shops, visit historic landmarks, or simply relax in one of the village's cafes or restaurants before returning to Bordeaux.
